Handling Conflict is one of our one day courses

AIM: Conflict at work can waste energy and time, and frequently de-motivates other as well as the people directly involved. Many people are afraid of dealing with it and prefer to ignore it, often with serious consequences. If it is recognised, acknowledged and handled constructively it can be a really positive force, and will release and energy and renew commitment. The aim of this course is to enable you to develop the skills and the confidence to constructively manage conflict and to help resolve difference between people within the teams.

OBJECTIVES: At the end of this workshop you will be able to:

  • Understand and diagnose the symptoms and causes of interpersonal and team conflict
  • Understand your preferred approach to conflict management and its impact
  • Use a conflict diagnosis model to evaluate alternative approaches
  • Use mediation techniques to diffuse and resolve conflict situations
